Required Competencies Academic Qualifications • University Degree in animal production /animal science/animal health/range management • Postgraduate training and relevant experience in farming systems and livestock value chain analysis as a basis of designing development programmes and mitigation of negative impacts • Working knowledge of poultry sector in Rwanda • Good skills in design of cross-sectional surveys, data collection methodologies and analytical skills such as use of statistical software • Systematic document review and analysis • Structuring and drafting skills to make information accessible and meaningful to expected users.
