JOB DETAILS:
Ngali Mining Ltd is a subsidiary of Ngali Holdings based in Kigali in BODIFA MERCY HOUSE KIMIHURURA IN 7TH FLOOR. We would like to hire a surveyor for a fixed-term contract of one year which may be renewed.
Referring to the semi-mechanized underground mining we are going to apply at MASOGWE site with the slope of 1/200, this project needs an underground surveyor for the following tasks/responsibilities: .

Key tasks include but are not limited to:
• To prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe certify and assume liability for the work performed
• To maintain the slope of 1/200 which is very important in water drainage and in material handling
• To verify the accuracy of surveyed data, including measurements and calculations conducted at the site
• To plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and geodetic measurements.
• Surveyor will be involved in the accurate measurement and recordings of every step advanced in the tunnels.
• To use very well the surveying equipment provided by the company in tunnels when needed
• To be in charge of Site stores and record the ingoing/outgoing of each equipment in the store
• Conducting other assignments given by the Site Manager and NML Management as well.

Qualification & Experience Required
• Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Engineering Survey or Mining Survey
• For a candidate with a bachelor’s degree should possess field experience of 3 years
• For the candidate with an Advanced diploma should have experience of at least five years.
• Experience should be the one achieved from a known Mining Company
• He/She must know how to use different Total station machines (Nikon, Leica Robotic or any other but should specify it in the application
• He/She should have to know GIS software or Model maker for Interpretation and analysis of data.
