BID ANNOUNCEMENT

Direct Aid is an international NGO established in Kuwait in 1981, providing humanitarian services in more than 30 countries in Africa. It aims to alleviate poverty, diseases, and illiteracy by focusing on food security, education, health, and social development.

The Direct Aid Rwanda office plans to purchase cows for slaughtering and distribute meat to the vulnerable families in Rwanda for the Eid al-Adha holiday. Potential suppliers are invited to submit sealed tenders according to the Instructions to Bidders and General Terms and Conditions of Purchase outlined below:

  1. The supplier must provide a business license, recent tax clearance certificate, vaccination and health certificate for all cows, and transport permit documents.
  2. Cows must be free from diseases and defects.
  3. Cows must not be blind, pregnant, one-eyed, limping, lean or thin, emaciated or lame, have cut ears or tails, lack teeth, or be infested with impurities in the grass.
  4. Cows must weigh not less than 150 kg alive.
  5. Cows must be at least two years old.

Bid submission deadline: 18/05/2024

Sealed bids must be submitted to the locked box at the DirectAid Head Office in Kiyovu KN16/13, near Nobilis Hotel.

No bids will be accepted after the specified closing time.

Bids will be opened on 09 June 2023 at 3:00 pm, and interested bidders or their representatives are welcome to attend.
