Background Information:

Rwanda Ultimate Golf Course is a private company aiming to establish Rwanda as a premier golfing destination in Africa. The Kigali Golf Resort & Villas is the flagship project designed by Gary Player.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement annual procurement plans aligned with operational objectives.
• Consolidate purchase requests and prioritize based on operational needs.
• Review requisitions, prequalify suppliers, and analyze quotations.
• Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and manage supplier database.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, prepare RFQs, RFPs, and POs.
• Monitor delivery, coordinate with finance and stores teams, and maintain documentation.
• Track procurement spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and contribute to reports.
• Mentor and provide guidance to procurement team members.
• Oversee day-to-day procurement tasks and step in for the Procurement Manager when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certification such as CIPS is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive procurement experience in hospitality or related industries.
• Strong understanding of hospitality procurement systems and effective negotiation skills.
