True D Logistics is a private limited company whose offices are located at Gikondo, Kigali Rwanda. Newly established company, True D Logistics’ core business is wholesale/Retail of imported commodities and provision of cargo overhauling in East Africa.
The company is keen at aggressively expand its customer base, hence increasing its revenues. In this perspective, True D Logistics through CiMg & Associates (www.cimg.co.rw) is looking for talented people to fill the position of Sales Officer.

Job Reports to : Sales & Marketing Manager
Job Supervises : Sales agents
Main Purpose of the job
- Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment
- Manages sales of the company’s products and services
- Implement business strategies and action to achieve short- and long-term sales targets and earnings.
- Propose most realistic sales goals for the company.
- Manages customer base to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
- Conduct competitive business intelligence
Responsibilities
- Prepare sales ads for publications for approval by the management.
- Conduct strategic mapping for potential customers and draft visits plans for approval by the management
- Visit businesses to inquire about existing business opportunities
- Build relationships with clients.
- Understand the needs of each client and propose how True D Logistics can serve them profitably.
- Keep abreast of changes within the market place in terms of price, opportunities, customer preferences and economy.
- Perform extensive research on clients and competitors.
- Perform thorough market research for identifying market trends for the management to take decision on actions needed.
- Generate revenue for goods and services
- Focus on growing existing accounts and acquiring new clients.
- Make sales presentations all over the country.
- Handle incoming inquiries as to goods, pricing and discounts.
- Book sales appointments and elaborate delivery plan for logistical use.
- Walk door-to-door and solicit business.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Successful candidate should have:
- Background in Marketing/sales and related field with at least advanced certificate of secondary education with two year experience in similar position in commercial business
- Analytical ability
- Ability to understand the market and buyer requirements
- Planning and organizing ability
- Business acumen
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
