1. Introduction

Right To Play is a global organization that uses the transformative power of play to educate and empower children to rise above adversity. We pioneer a unique approach to learning, both inside and outside of the classroom, and harness play, one of the most fundamental forces in child’s life, to help children dismantle barriers and embrace opportunities to learning and development.

Right To Play is seeking quotations from qualified audit firms to conduct the audit of its financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31,2024. The objective is to obtain an independent audit option on the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of the financial statements with relevant accounting standards, as well as to evaluate the internal control systems in place.

2. Scope of Work

Audit Objective:

• The audit must verify the financial statements of RTP for the year 2024 and ensure they are in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

Scope of Services:

• Audit of the 2024 financial statements of RTP, including a review of the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and notes to the financial statements.
• Evaluation of RTP’s internal controls and risk management processes.
• Identification of any discrepancies or areas of concern within the financial records.
• Delivery of an audit opinion and a management letter with recommendations.
• Submission of a final audit report by March 31, 2025.

3. Qualifications and Experience

Please provide the following information:

• Overview of your firm and your experience in auditing organizations of similar size or industry.
• Overview of the auditing standards you apply, quality assurance mechanisms you have in place, with respect to ensuring your independence and any association/ affiliation with relevant professional accounting bodies
• Qualifications of the lead auditor and team members who will be involved in this engagement, including their professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACA).
• Experience in auditing financial statements under IFRS/GAAP (or the applicable accounting standards for RTP).

4. Methodology

Please provide a detailed explanation of the methodology you intend to use, covering:

• Risk assessment process.
• Approach for testing transactions, balances, and internal controls.
• Technology or tools that will be used during the audit.
• Measures taken to identify and mitigate fraud risks.

5. Audit Fees and Payment Terms

Please provide a detailed breakdown of your audit fees, including:

• Base audit fee.
• Any additional costs (e.g., out-of-scope work, travel, etc.).
• Payment schedule and terms.

6. Timeline

The audit must be completed by March 31, 2025. Please provide a proposed timeline that includes key milestones such as:

• Initial planning and audit kick-off.
• Fieldwork phase (on-site review, if applicable).
• Final review and submission of the audit report.

7. Confidentiality and Data Security

Please confirm your firm's commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding RTP's financial data throughout the audit process. Provide a brief outline of the procedures you follow to ensure data security.

8. References

Please provide at least two references from clients for whom you have conducted similar audits. Include the client’s name, contact information, and a brief description of the services provided.

9. Evaluation Criteria

Quotations will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Audit fee competitiveness.
• Experience and qualifications of the audit team.
• Proposed methodology and approach.
• Ability to meet the project timeline.
• Client references and past audit performance.
