JOB DETAILS:

JOB PURPOSE (why the position exists and with what objectives)

• Lead the team of site tradesmen for all piping works

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education:
  At least high school or industrial technology graduate.
• Work experience:
  At least 5 years of plumbing and drainage installation and supervising in commercial project.
• Computer skills:
  Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Language:
  Fluent in written and spoken English, Swahili and Kinyarwanda additional French is preferred

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

• Will Lead the team of mechanical workers
• Timely erection of piping works
• Should be able to supervise team along with coordination with other Engineers
• Strong character, proactive and confident in your own experience and knowledge to help progress works on site in real time.
• Strong Excellent writing, presentation meeting facilitation skills

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Supervise the installation, maintenance, repair of plumbing, drainage and waste line systems and supporting the QAQC in raising work inspection report
• Assist to build and replace sinks, faucets and surrounding countertops and baseboards.
• Supervised and carryout some other works like putting together PVC drainage lines with a variety of fittings including the deployment of metal traps, P-traps, cleanouts, valves and shut-offs
• Install a variety of extra pumps such as sewage pumps, drainage pumps and garbage disposals
• Supervise the installation of PVC pipe, copper lines and flexible hose for residential, commercial and hospital project
• Answer customer calls for repairs and new construction jobs while also providing customer service and documentation as per the project requirements
