JOB DETAILS:

Job responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the organisation’s server infrastructure to meet performance and reliability requirements; ● Manage server hardware, operating systems, and virtualization technologies; ● Monitor server performance and identify opportunities for optimization; ● Implement performance tuning and capacity planning strategies to ensure scalability; ● Implement and maintain server security measures to protect against unauthorised access and data breaches; ● Ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices; ● Manage and administer virtualized server environments using platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V; ● Optimise virtualization technologies for resource efficiency and scalability; ● Develop and implement server backup and recovery strategies; ● Conduct regular testing of backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity; ● Lead or contribute to server-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion; ● Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for server configurations, processes, and procedures; ● Install, configure, and support an organization’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems; ● Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance; ● Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, and anti-spam; ● Oversee installation, maintenance, and backup of organization’s data; ● Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
