JOB DETAILS:

RWANDA LAND MANAGEMENT AND USE AUTHORITY .

Job Responsibilities
• Initiate laws and regulations relating to the operation and management of RLMUA and board;
• Advise RLMUA Management and board on amendments of laws and regulation to address issues arising from changing realities in land use and land administration.
• Advice the institution on adoption and application of new laws introduced by other stakeholder in the land the land sector
• Ensure harmonization of the national laws with international agreements related to land and property;
• Advise RLMUA on compliance with legal matters in all the national programs likely to affect the management and operations of the institution;
• Receive and study contentious files and give advice to the decision makers;
• Initiate a preliminary investigation into contentious cases and assess the enforcement of the legislation and regulations
• Collect and keep jurisprudence decisions as regards the appeals relevant in mining
• Process the inspection reports and elaborate complaints

Job Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Law with 1 year of working experience or A0 in Law with
• Diploma in legal practice and 3 years of working experience.
• Knowledge of government contract law;
• Legal research and analysis in complex areas of law;
• Knowledge of Substantive Law and Legal Procedures related to Court Procedures and Pleading
• Planning & Organizational Skills;
• Conflict management skills
• Team working skills;
• Decision making skills
• High analytical skills;
• Legal drafting skills;
• Interpersonal Skills;
• Effective communication skills;

• Computer Skills;
