Job description
1.To provide technical support to lecturers/Assistant lecturers /instructors and students
• Assess the range and volume of work to be undertaken for the day or days ahead and plan accordingly
• Implement received instructions and seek advice where necessary from lecturers/Assistant lecturers /instructors
• To prepare tools and materials as required.
2. To maintain a work environment
• Maintain tools so that they are ready for use
• Carry out equipment service
• Ensure that the laboratory/work environment is maintained to the standard required to deliver the appropriate level of training
• Adhere to basic health and safety procedures affecting self and others
3. To Keep laboratory records
• Carry out record-keeping, filing, and reporting
• Requesting the materials, tools, and equipment from logistics.
• To issue the equipment, tools, and materials to the students and keep records.
• To assist in the ordering of equipment and consumables and maintain records of assets.
4. To participate in IPRC activities
• Carrying out duties requiring competence such as participating in consultancy services.
• Contributing to issues that are useful to the development of IPRC facilities.
• Participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain information useful to the IPRC facilities.

• 1.Install, operate and maintain the hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• 2.Install, maintain and troubleshoot industrial electric Motors
• 3.Design build and maintain electronic controller circuits
• 4.Perform networking for industry
• 5.Perform Industrial instrumentation and calibration
• 6.Operate Conventional Machine Tools
Minimum Qualifications
• Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
3 Years of relevant experience
