JOB DETAILS:
Soft Packaging Ltd is seeking to recruit an experienced and competent individual at the position of head of technical services to join our technical team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage technical staff and supervise all activities of technical department of Soft Packaging Ltd.
• Plan daily activities, work schedules and targets of maintenance, repair and service of machines
• Analyse operations and provide cost-effective suggestions for improvement for business to operate at maximum efficiency
• Conduct quality checks on functionality of parts and components
• Work closely with the operations department to reduce the cost of workshops
• Advise the operations team on spare parts or machine to be repaired in house or outside(workshop)
• Train and coach existing and new operators and new technical team members
• Ensure that the Company meets technical standards, systems and processes of production (electrical installations, water, pressure, air compressors, etc.)
• Approving service /repair, maintenance job to be done, or replacement for specific machine or spare parts
• Approving the requisition of spare parts or equipment to be purchased and the costs of workshops
• Periodic monitoring of life of machines and advise the management/operations for service or replacement
• Submit daily activities report of technical team.

Requirements:
• Advanced education level in technical fields (Industrial electrical and mechanical engineering, electronics, etc.)
• Experience of 3 years minimum in manufacturing industry (having experience in plastic sector will be an advantage)
• Ability to work extremely well under pressure
• Computer skills and reporting experience
