Description
The Head of Human Resources at Access Bank Rwanda PLC will be responsible for leading the HR function in alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives. This role involves shaping and implementing HR strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Develop and execute HR strategies to support business objectives.
- Manage recruitment processes, ensuring the right talent is attracted and retained.
- Oversee performance management systems to enhance employee performance and motivation.
- Lead talent management initiatives, including succession planning and career development programs.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations to mitigate risks.
- Manage employee relations and address any issues that may arise in the workplace.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop HR policies that support the business strategy.
- Monitor HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage change and drive organizational improvements.
