INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVISION SERVICES OF HOTEL SERVICES, ACCOMMODATION AND CONFERENCE PACKAGE

INTRODUCTION TO CIAT

CIAT is an international not-for-profit organization that is part of CGIAR, a global research partnership uniting organization engaged in research for a food secure Future.  CIAT mandate is to reduce hunger and poverty, improve human nutrition in the tropics through research aimed at increasing eco-efficiency of Agriculture.

CIAT has different projects across Africa, with its main regional office for Africa based in Nairobi, Kenya with Sub Regions office in Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Zimbabwe, DR Congo, and Zambia.

CIAT is inviting expression of interest for hotel services across Rwanda to provide hotel services for Accommodation and conference packages, this expression of interest has been specifically created to provide you with all the information required to understand CIAT requirement, and complete a response to the expression of interest.

Scope of Services:

1. Accommodations:

• Options for Standard Single room and double occupancy rooms

2. Conference facilities:

• Full Day Conference package
• Half Day Conference Package

Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience in providing hotel services for conference and events.
• Flexibility to Accommodate special requests and preferences.
• Competitive pricing and value-added services.
• Compliance with Health and Safety standards and regulations.

Interested services providers are invited to submit their expression of interest including:

1. Business registration Certificate
2. Rwanda Revenue Tax Clearance
3. RSSB Clearance certificate
4. VAT Certificate
5. Company Profile
6. Financial and technical proposal for a period of one year. (The Financial proposal need to be quoted in RWF)
