JOB DETAILS:
Our biggest demonstration of commitment to this mission is our business in Rwanda, Africa. This was our first overseas project and is our largest market in terms of the number of consultations performed every day and where we are working increasingly closely with the Ministry of Health to expand the scale and range of services that we offer. There is a population of around 12 million, with just 1200 doctors between them. To get even the most basic treatment, most people used to have to wait for hours at a local centre. But to avoid the queues, many didn’t bother consulting a doctor, instead choosing to either hope for the best, or self-diagnose instead. Since 2016 we've been providing nurse and GP appointments via a mobile phone, so now Rwandans can get a quick diagnosis and receive prescription codes via text .

• Infrastructure management (Chef / Terraform)
• Containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes
• Alarming and Monitoring (Sentry / Prometheus)
• Helping manage our CI Pipelines (CircleCI and Jenkins)
• Strong Linux / MySQL / Postgres skills
• Familiarity with Java environments and/or Ruby an advantage.
