Job Description
Duties and responsibilities:
• Build database scheme, tables, procedures and permissions;
• Develop database utilities and automated reporting;
• Create shell scripts for task automation;
• Create, test and execute data management languages;Analyse and sustain capacity and performance requirements of database;
• Analyse, consolidate and tune database for optimal efficiency;
• Monitor systems and platforms for availability;
• Oversee backup, clustering, mirroring, replication and fail over;
• Restore and recover corrupted databases;
• Install and test upgrades and patches;
• Implement security and encryption;
• Evaluate and recommend new database technologies;
• Design and document database architecture and Data Modelling.

Key technical skills and knowledge required:
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Experience in IT System Analysis ,Implementation and Evaluation
• Sound understanding of Computer Systems ,hardware,software and networks
• Experience of developing and managing ICT budget
• Excellent Organizations Skills
• Advanced leadership skills,including coaching ,team building, problem solving,conflict resolution,consensus building
• Ability to provide innovative technical solutions,strategies and options to complex and critical technical issues affecting multiple disciplines and work groups
• Knowledge of French is an added advantage

Job Profile
• A0 in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Information Management System , Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or A1 in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering with a Certifications in A+, N+ is required; Certifications in CCNA, MCSE, MCSD, MCTs (.NET),LAMP/WAMP Framework or MCITP are an added advantage .
