To provide high-quality financial and credit analysis for large SME and corporate exposures above RWF 1 billion, ensuring portfolio growth while maintaining risk appetite, compliance, and asset quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial analysis including cash flow forecasting, EBITDA, DSCR, free cash flow, leverage, sensitivity, and scenario testing.
  • Develop and present detailed credit proposals, highlighting risks, mitigants, and covenant structures.
  • Structure facilities aligned with Risk Acceptance Criteria (RAAC) and BNR requirements.
  • Monitor large exposures, collateral adequacy, concentration risks, and covenant compliance.
  • Conduct stress testing at borrower and portfolio levels.Job search platforms
  • Recommend proactive restructuring or risk mitigation strategies.
  • Engage stakeholders (RMs, auditors, regulators, valuers) to ensure due diligence.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to governance, RAAC, and policy frameworks.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Master’s degree / CFA / CPA / ACCA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years progressive experience in credit analysis, corporate/SME lending, or risk management (with transactions above RWF 1B).
  • Strong knowledge of Basel/BNR guidelines, IFRS-9, and large exposure management.
  • Proficiency in Moody’s risk tools (Risk Analyst, CreditEdge, or equivalent).
  • Advanced financial modeling, stress testing, and ratio analysis skills.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
  • Strong commercial awareness and sector knowledge.
