JOB DETAILS:
The scope of the work is as follows:
• Prepare training curriculum, training materials, participant’s handouts in English and Kinyarwanda languages.
• Conduct training and training evaluation.
• Prepare training report.
• Well-trained cooperative representatives and management in Environmental Safety and Safe Chemical Use, ready and committed to implement what they have been trained on.
• A detailed end of training report with recommendations for improvement of participation in the Environmental Safety and Safe Chemical Use training proposed follow-up plan.
• Reporting Mechanism
• The consultant will work closely with ADC Agribusiness Specialist who will be reporting to the ADC Program Director on the progress of the training.

Qualifications:
• COTHENK is looking forward to hire an individual Consultant with competency and experience in training on Environmental Safety and Safe Chemical Use and should be with the following qualifications:
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture Sciences or Rural Development, or any other related field. A master’s degree is added value.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in conducting Environmental Safety and Safe Chemical Use training or related activities.
• Should be a member of Rwanda Association of Professional Environmental Practitioners (RAPEP).
• Knowledge of Rwanda Business Environment and Agriculture Policy.

Presentation and submission of bids/offers:
The Technical and Financial proposals shall be submitted in hard copies to Cooperative Office not later than 20th September 2021 at 10:00 am
Technical offer, citing all necessary information and providing documentation requested as per the TOR, including but not limited to:
• Presentation of the offer and objectives of the training.
• Detailed CVs of consultant(s) who will be assigned to perform this assignment.
• Copies of degree certificates.
• Certificates of previous similar assignments accomplished.
• Detailed work plan and schedule, and time frame of activities.
• Description of work methodology to be used by the Consultant.
• Language of Trainings: Deliverables, mode of delivery, and delivery period, all deliverables will be in English with summarized translations in Kinyarwanda to facilitate the cooperative members and staff ownership of the content.
