JOB DETAILS:
• Collaborate with division leadership to develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the division's goals and priorities.
• rEstablish and maintain strategic partnerships with research institutions, industry stakeholders, and funding agencies to foster collaboration and secure research funding.
• Lead the development of compelling research proposals, grant applications, and funding requests in coordination with the research teams.
• Work closely with researchers and subject matter experts to ensure proposals are innovative, competitive, and meet funding agency requirements.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities in the health research and data science domain.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, funding opportunities, and emerging technologies relevant to the division's research focus.
• Manage and coordinate collaborative projects, ensuring smooth communication and adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
• Facilitate productive partnerships among internal teams and external collaborators.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and conduct competitor analysis to inform business strategies and positioning.
• Provide insights on potential partnerships, investments, and innovative business models.
• Represent the division at relevant industry events, conferences, and networking forums to expand the division's visibility and identify partnership opportunities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare and research sectors.
• Collaborate with the Technology Transfer Office to identify and evaluate research innovations with commercialization potential.
• Support the licensing and transfer of intellectual property to industry partners.
