JOB DETAILS:
Job Description

• Telling the stories of MINAGRI in video, photographic or audio format;
  
• Ensure accurate and good quality capture of MINAGRI activities in video, photographic or audio format for use across various platforms (broadcast, digital);
  
• Develop and maintain an effective transfer and archiving and retrieval system for MINAGRI video, audio and photographic material;
  
• Facilitate the work of Audio- Visual teams (camera operators and producers) from media organizations covering MINAGRI activities;
  
• Work collaboratively with other communication staff members in managing social media channelsof MINAGRI;
  
• Provide assistance, when required, in the updating of the MINAGRI website;
  
• Performs custom and specialized photography in house or on location using a variety of filming and photographic equipment; camera setting, lighting requirements and other specifications to ensure quality production of content on various platforms channels;
  
• Produce, direct and edit documentaries or any required film productions for MINAGRI communication activities;
  
• Assist with media duplications: copy DVDs, print DVD faces, transfer multi platform tape to DVD, encode video files, etc;
  
• Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by Program Manager, AICP
  

Job Profile

• University Bachelor Degree in Journalism, Communication, Mass Communication, or multimedia Academic qualifications with 3 years of working experience in audio visual or video Production;
  
• Advanced level qualification in videography or multimedia production is an added advantage;
  
• Good experience of video production techniques, including creating storyboards, scripting, filming, editing and post production
  
• Good experience of creating content for social media channels
  
• Extensive knowledge of new audio visual products and equipment.
  
• Professional understanding of using video editing applications such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and Adobe Photoshop CS6.

• Creative thinking and good storytelling skills;
  
• Excellent visual artistic ability and competence in storytelling through the visual arts;
  
• Good Knowledge of MS Office – Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
  
• Excellent organization and communication skills;
  
• Excellent creativity and a good eye for space, design, texture, and colour balance, and lighting techniques;
  
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with managers and co-workers;
  
• Must be detail oriented and very accurate in delivery of assignments;
  
• Excellent resources management skill;
  
• Good planning skills; working with clear prioritization and resource management processes to ensure that time is used to maximum impact;
  
• Team player attitude;
  
• Keeps up to date with emerging trends in audio visual production.
