JOB DETAILS:
– To manage the design, planning, conduct, implementation and analysis of all the agricultural surveys;
– To provide the necessary agricultural statistics to National Accounts and participate in GDP compilation;
– To work in close collaboration with the MINAGRI and with other institutions and projects involved in this sector in order to harmonize data and to avoid duplication;
– To collaborate closely with the Price Statisticians – To assess the quality of data collected in the rural areas;
– To participate in the development of the Annual Work Program, the Budget and the Annual Report of activities of the Unit;
– Provision of advice and build capacity of the division;
– To do any other task related to this job as may be requested by his/her supervisors
