JOB DETAILS:
APAPER Primary and Kindergarten School is a non-governmental organization established in 1985 and located in GASABO – Remera very close to Sonatube. It is a nursery-elementary school with a French-speaking program offering teaching based on the active method “learning by doing” and on human values.
We are looking for a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our qualified teaching team.
Responsibilities
• Present lessons holistically and use all means to facilitate learning
• Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
• Create and distribute educational content (setting up workshops, notes, summaries, homework, etc.)
• Evaluate and record student progress and provide grades and feedback
• Keep the classroom clean and orderly
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents and administration and participate in scheduled meetings
• Schedule and execute classroom and outdoor educational activities and events
• Develop and enrich your professional skills and knowledge by participating in training, etc.

Requirements
• A2 level qualification in teaching or a specialist subject with a certificate in education
• Proven experience of at least 2 years as a teacher
• Have an excellent command of the oral and written French language
• In-depth knowledge of teaching best practices
• Experience in Montessori teaching approach will be an asset
• Excellent communication skills
• Be well organized and dedicated
• Be creative and energetic
• Have strong moral values and sense of discipline
• Maximum of 30 years
