JOB DETAILS:
Dynasty Construction “D.C” Ltd located at Kicukiro Sector, Kicukiro District is currently recruiting for the position of Site Engineer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• supervising and overseeing the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
• Setting up buildings
• Checking levels on site using dumpy level machine
• liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
• coordinating and supervising construction workers
• selecting tools and materials
• making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
• checking and preparing site reports
• maintaining quality control procedures
• finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
• assessing and minimizing the risk
• writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork
• helping to negotiate contracts and securing permits and licences

Qualifications and experience

• Civil Engineer, Technical A2 or A1
• Good knowledge of building methods and regulations
• Experience in a similar job: 10 years
• Languages: English spoken and written, Kinyarwanda, French.
• Computer’s skills: Autocad, MS Excel, Ms Word, MS project, Powerpoint.

Nature of contract
Permanent with six months of probation.
