Job Title: Senior System Security & Network Administrator

Job Description
• Provide ICT training, support and troubleshooting services to staff;
• Ensure the institution's data is securely managed, through regular systems monitoring;
• Design and manage data systems and web platforms for the institution's knowledge management and sharing;
• Manage institution's ICT equipment, conducting regular preventive and curative maintenance;
• Installation and maintenance of ICT hardware and servers;
• Design, build and manage network infrastructure for the institution.
• Respond to all queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them, Websites updating and performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations.
Job Profile
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Information Technology, Information Technology Applications in Management, Information Management Systems, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with 3 years of work experience or A0 in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Information Technology, Information Technology Applications in Management, Information Management Systems, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with 5 years of relevant work experience.
Key technical skills and knowledge required:
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Certified in systems networking and/or database development
• Basic software development knowledge
• Ability to navigate various technology platforms with ease
• Sound understanding of computer systems, hardware, software and networks
• Ability to troubleshoot computer network systems and provide basic maintenance
• Ability to assess institutional technology needs and advise on best allocation of budget
• Ability to train and support team members on ICT usage
• Knowledge of French is an added advantage
