JOB DETAILS:
2 Assistant Lecturer in Land Surveying
Level:4.III
Job description
• Demonstrate high level of class leadership and management (In all levels of IPRC)
• Teach/Train students in areas assigned by the institution.
• Conduct lecture planning, preparation, and research.
• Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of a high-quality curriculum.
• Engage in professional and personal development.
• Engage with broader scholarly and professional community outreach activities.
• Contribute to TVET research and innovation
• Conduct training of trainers.
• Participate in income-generating activities of the institution.
• Perform all other tasks assigned by her/his supervisors.
• Expertise in the use of land surveying software
• Expertise in the use of CAD Software in road geometric design
• Expertise in surveying data collection and process for civil engineering purposes
• Ability to conduct practical classes in laboratories and outside
• Good understanding of Rwanda TVET qualification framework.

Courses to teach:
• Geo-Information System (GIS) and GPS applications
• Produce Land Information Document,
• Geodetic Survey Measurements
• Perform 3D Laser Scanner in Land surveying,
• Perform Remote Sensing Techniques
• Geodatabase creation
• Physical Planning
• Land information document
• Engineering Surveying

Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Land Surveying
1 Year of relevant experience
• Surveying and Geomatics Engineering
1 Year of relevant experience
• Master's Degree in Engineering surveying
1 Year of relevant experience
