TENDER NOTICE

TITLE OF THE TENDER: TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF SINGLE PHASE PREPAID METERS UNDER FRAMEWORK CONTRACT.

TENDER REFERENCE No: 11.07.022/009/G/2024-2025/ICB/PROC-DCS/EUCL-MD/CG/17 PROCUREMENT METHOD: INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (ICB) CLIENT AND SOURCE OF FUND: ENERGY UTILITY CORPORATION LIMITED

1. Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF SINGLE PHASE PREPAID METERS UNDER FRAMEWORK CONTRACT.

2. Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) in accordance with the Procurement Procedures Manual of REG/EUCL.

3. The Bidding Document may be obtained by interested bidders for any working days from 11/10/2024, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at EUCL-REG Headquarters, 1st Floor, Room N° G114, in the Secretariat Office of the Procurement Management of EUCL, P.O Box 5634 Kigali, gruhumuriza@eucl.reg.rw or rmutungi@eucl.reg.rw; upon presentation of proof of payment of a non-refundable amount of Ten Thousand Rwandan Francs (10,000 Frw) or Eight United State Dollars (USD 8). This payment shall be made to Account N° 25044962001/RWF opened at I & M Bank and the account N° 00040- 00691030-35 (USD) opened at Bank of Kigali (BK) with code IBAN: RW4000040006910303500. Bids must be delivered to the address below before or not later than 10:00am local time on 15/11/2024. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened.

4. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security of Fifteen Million Rwandan Francs (Frw 15,000,000) or Eleven Thousand United State Dollars (USD 11,000) issued by a reputable bank or other financial institutions with the validity period of One Hundred Fifty (150) days from the opening date of bids 5. Bids will be opened in a public session and in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person in the conference room at EUCL Headquarter Offices at 10:30 am local time on the same day.

6. Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in four copies one of which is the original must reach the Secretariat of the Procurement Management at the address mentioned below not later than 15/11/2024 at 10:00 am. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened.
