Rwanda Good Governance Promotion and Youth Development Organization_RGPYD, is a non-governmental and non –profit organization registered since 2012 and recognized by RGB with the registration certificate N0. 021/2014. The organization has its headquarters in Nyamata sector, Opposite RRA Bugesera District in Eastern Province. 

RGPYD has the mission of “strengthening good governance, democracy and youth development”. To achieve this famous mission, the organization empowers Youth(boys and girls),women and  vulnerable groups namely teen mothers, youth with disabilities,widows and street children to be self-reliant through governance, gender justice, economic empowerment, social protection, skills development, livelihood improvement, climate resilience, nutrition, research and advocacy for transformational and sustainable development. It is in the same efforts that RGPYD received funds from UNDP/RGB under Civil Society Organization Strengthening Program to implement a project entitled: “ Teenage Pregnancies Reduction Economic Empowerment in Bugesera District”. Selected teen mothers in Nyamata will be empowered will be empowered with professional skills(tailoring technical skills) and soft skills (trainings on entrepreneurship , elementary accounting and saving, and cooperative formation & management for a period of nine (9) months. It is within this end the organization invites the public to bid for supply of Sewing machines. 

RGPYD has received funds from UNDP/RGB towards the implementation of the “The project named : “TEENAGE PREGNANCIES REDUCTION THROUGH ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT IN BUGESERA DISTRICT.

RGPYD as implementing partner invites qualified bidders to submit bids for the following tender:

Tender Documents may be obtained from  RGPYD Headquarters, in accounting office, from 3/11/2023 from 9: 00 am to 17:00 pm upon presentation of a bank slip for the payment of 10,000 Frw deposited to the account N0. 1402666419 Opened in Urwego Bank under names of Rwanda Good Governance Promotion and Youth Development Organization. 

Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in 2 copies one of which is the original must reach the RGPYD Office, not later than 26/11/2023 at 10:00a.m local time. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened. 

The outer envelope should clearly indicate the tender name and title. 

The validity of bids shall be 180 days from the opening day of bids. 

Bids will be opened on the same day in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend, in the Board Room meeting of RGPYD at 10:30 am.
