With funding from Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), Practical Action is implementing a four-year (2022-2026) Renewable Energy for Refugees Project, phase II (RE4R II), in close partnership with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Ministry of Emergency Management (MINEMA). 

The aim of Intervention is to promote livelihood activities through the development of productive use of energy (PUE) in the 5 refugee camps in Rwanda. The selected PUE business will be supported to access finance, business training, access appliances and facilitated to have access to electricity to power their businesses.  PUE intervention will support 300 entrepreneurs in the 5 targeted refugee camps and within the host communities of Mahama, Mugombwa, Kiziba, Nyabiheke, and Kigeme.

Practical Action hereby invites interested companies to submit their Bids for construction of business centers in Mahama,Mugombwa and Kiziba.
