Tender For The Supply, Installation, Implementation, Commissioning And Maintenance Of General Insurance Software
BK General Insurance Itd call for bids from companies specialized in supply and implementation of the General Insurance software. The system should be an IFRS17 compliant, and provide end-to-end automation of the general insurances processes, notably:
• the digitalization of all interactions with the business partners;
• Underwriting of all general insurance products,
• Orchestration of policy, claims, commissions, coinsurance and reinsurance processes
• handling of collections, disbursements, and Financial Asset Management;
• Integration with the ERP & third-party systems;
• Provide custom and Analytics reporting.

Requirements to participate in the bidding process
Any company interested to participate in the process should
• be a locally, or internationally registered IT company
• Prove for successful implementation of at least 5 similar projects
• prove to be a well-run and financially stable company. interested bidders can participate in the process by writing an email to the BKG procurement office email: ambabazi@bk.rw, from 19 November 2021, requesting of the RFP document.

Bidders who have manifested their interests in the process would be given 2 weeks to request for clarifications over the Terms of references, and further 2 weeks to prepare and submit their offers.
Well prepared, paginated, indexed, and signed bids, accompanied with a video clip (of less than 10 minutes) showcasing the software features and technological capabilities of the system should be submitted not later than 21 December 2021 at 3PM.
Only prequalified bidders shall thereafter be invited to present their offers to BKGI's tender committee.
