JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
To support store objectives by delivering excellent service in line with store needs and to ensure the effective maintenance of designated sections. The Sales Assistant is responsible for delivering a great customer brand experience to all customers in keeping with the Organisation’s guidelines. There must be a focus on maximising sales by inspiring the customer to buy and meeting the store’s sales targets. Your aim will be to achieve targets by offering a best-in-class customer and brand experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver a consistently great customer experience, ensuring ALL customers receive VIP treatment and that a high standard store ambience is maintained.
• Ensure ANY and ALL promises made to customers are tracked and met.
• Educate customers on products (customisation, styling, fabric, care instructions) as well as on relevant sales policies (return, exchange).
• Consistently complete store operating procedures documents, including Store Checklist, Maintenance tracker, and Lost opportunity tracker.
• Work according to the agreed standards, including guidelines on staff grooming and uniforms.
• Ensure the shop floor is clean and tidy at all times, reporting the need for any repairs and maintenance required.
• Contribute to stock allocation by giving feedback on all new styles and collections.
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• Knowledge of receiving deliveries, making transfers to other stores as well as to the central warehouse, and recording discrepancies on any orders.
• Any duties that may be assigned to you by the store manager individually or as part of the team
