POSITION: SENIOR OFFICER - SPENN PORTFOLIO
DEPARTMENT: RETAIL BANKING
REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER - RETAIL BANKING

Job Purpose:
Manage the entire SPENN portfolio and ensure that that the Micro lending service/product is compliant to the Bank's regulation. The job holder will also oversee coordination of trainings to all concerned stake holders.

Key Responsibilities for this role are:
1. Designing and implementing the SPENN sales growth strategies.
2. Work with SPENN team to develop and strengthen SPENN transactional wallet and Microlending products.
3. Ensure high standards of service delivery
4. Regular reporting on performance reviews and the various KPIs of the product
5. Ensure timely collection of all SPENN businesses income revenues
6. Conduct regular sites visits to SPENN Merchants and ensure progressive growth of all SPENN Solutions to customers.
7. Ensure all customers in arrears (class 18.2) are contacted and repayment plans are in place.
8. Employ various tracing techniques and strategies to collect micro loans in arrears.
9. Ensure all customers in arrears (class 1&2) are contacted and repayment plans are in place.
10. Follow up the performance of external collectors and recommend any improvements
11. Ensure loans are reported and classified as per regulations in the Bank lending policy requirements and related BNR declarations.
12. Ensure all regulations/policies are adhered to.
13. Prepare Weekly/Monthly performance progress reports against objectives. • Advise & recommend line manager or elated stake holders on any other emerging risks which may impact the SPENN portfolio.
14. Any other duties that may be assigned to the line manager

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
1. Completed Bachelor's degree- Banking, Business or Marketing or related field
2. A minimum of 3 years related experience in Bank & credit operations
3. Excellent report writing skills
4. Good understanding of Banking law and BNR regulations.
5. Demonstrated effective management and supervisory skills.
6. Thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all Bank products and services.
7. Sound working knowledge of Bank operating policies and procedures.
8. Excellent interpersonal, communication and Negotiating skills.
9. Focused, creative, self-motivated and customer centric.
10. Computer literate.
