JOB DETAILS:

The School Accountant plays a vital role in supporting the financial and operational backbone of the school.

This cross-functional position involves managing accounting systems, payroll, banking, procurement, student billing, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is
accurate, discreet, and collaborative - with strong financial discipline.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in finance. School experience would be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent) and Excel.
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, invoicing, reconciliations, and audits.
• Understanding of payroll and statutory compliance.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Desirable:

Comfort with multi-currency accounting and banking systems.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
