Partnership Development Officer at Water Access Rwanda
To learn how to become a sales and marketing representative for Water Access Rwanda. The Sales and Marketing trainees will learn to have a broad background in selling and a professional approach to marketing. They will learn how to increase sales and generate maximum returns for themselves and the company. Furthermore, they will learn how to handle many of the more difficult problems in marketing, such as explaining to prospects the technical aspects of Water Access Rwanda’s filter systems, selling against tough competition, and working through customer perceptions that directly affect business.

They should derive self-satisfaction from achieving weekly, monthly, and yearly objectives and growing within the organization.

Detailed Learning Areas
The Sales and Marketing Trainees will be empowered to learn and handle the following responsibilities:
• Handle company sales, and keeps a good record of sales made, clients, warranties, or other relevant documents.
• Prepare and update informative and attractive documents (pages, PPTX, excel, Docx), flyers, brochures, banners, social media posts, and web pages for all company services and products.
• Update current clients on their projects and check the finished project’s durability.
• Keep a record of costs of sales and regularly inform Management of any drastic changes in sourcing that require a change in pricing or strategy.
• Make sure the inventory of all saleable inventory products is kept and a good supply is kept at the office.
• Prepare quotes (PROFORMA invoices) for clients.
• Manage sales in all locations and affiliated locations.
• Find out about, register to participate, and represent the company at exhibitions,
• Be able to present the products and all certifications to interested customers.
• Devise marketing and distribution plans and facilitates implementation.
• Works with surveyors to plan water projects and the cost of projects.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Finance, Business, and other fields.
• High computer proficiency especially in accounting software.
• Must be a fluent typist with at least a typing speed of at of 45 WPM and 85% accuracy in English. In French, the requirements are a minimum of 35WPM with 75% accuracy (Test done using TypingTest.com).
• Ability to use social media for marketing
• Ability to conduct a market study and advise the company to set goals
• Basic knowledge of design tools and processes
• Passion for social work is demonstrated through a service project or a volunteering experience.
• Good reporting skills.
• Ability to work within a rural setting when necessary.
• Willingness to learn and improve.

Benefits
A Monthly Compensation of RWF 80,000 will be provided.
These are trainee positions that will allow the trainees to assume the roles full-time.
