RE: Request for expression of interest (EOI)

Kinazi Cassava Plant (KCP) Ltd is a cassava processing factory located in Ruhango District, Southern Province of Rwanda; the factory produces cassava flours for human consumption and industrial use.

KCP Ltd hereby invites industrial equipment suppliers/manufacturers (bidders) to submit the expression of interest on tender titled: KCP LTD REVAMPING PROJECT (SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF INDUSTRIAL FOOD PROCESSING EQUIPMENT).

The tender is open to national and international qualified bidders.

A bidder should bid on all items of the project and will contract as a project manager for supplying, installing and commissioning on all items in the bid document to be shared on companies/manufactures expressed their interest and also noted to be qualified. Bidder is allowed to have subcontractors.

Key equipment include but not limited to: Automated cassava roots peeler, Biomass fired boiler, Heat exchanger/Radiator and accessories, Automated packing machines for 5, 10, 25 and 50 kg PP Laminated bags, Automated packing machines for 1 and 2 kg Aluminium based packaging materials, Vibratory sieve, Cassava roots washer, Automated Cleaning In Place (CIP) System, Air compressor, Solar PV production, Heavy duty trucks (12 T capacity), Pick Up HILUX VIGO, and Laboratory equipment (Flour test equipment such as NIR Analyzer, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, Water quality and waste water test equipment).

The interested suppliers are requested to submit at least three (3) certificates of completion of similar services executed in food processing industries in at least five (5) previous years; having completed similar exercises for local food processing industries will be an added advantage.

The expression of interest must be submitted not later than 30th September 2023 at 12:00 AM, Kigali Time.

A well-printed EOI written in English language, properly bound and presented in two copies one of which is original in sealed envelopes and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer will be submitted at KCP CHIC office- F056-F057, 2nd floor, not later than the date and time mentioned above.
