JOB DETAILS:
SCL is seeking a qualified candidate for a Pro Audio (Bench) Repair Technician position within our Service Department. The ideal candidate will have experience with the component level repair for both analog and digital professional audio equipment such as keyboards, power amplifiers, instrument amplifiers, analog mixing consoles, digital mixing consoles, and digital recorders .

Candidate must possess the following skills:
• Relevant experience repairing electronic audio devices
• Ability to read schematics diagrams
• Understanding of basic signal flow principles of analog audio equipment • Knowledge of electronic circuits
• Ability to operate diagnostic and test equipment
• Experience with software and operating systems, preferred for both Windows and Mac
• Ability to lift heavy items onto workbench such as keyboards and mixing consoles
• Music technology background strongly preferred.
• Service and repair a wide variety of audio equipment, which includes mixers (powered & un-powered), speakers (active & passive), keyboards, midi controllers, digital audio workstation interfaces, studio outboard gear, microphones, headphones, guitar amplifiers and various styles of DJ turntables and control surfaces.
• Must be able to accurately document diagnostic findings and repairs performed in technical terms to complete electronic work orders.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• The ability to speak French.
• The Pro Audio Electronics Technician must be able to provide excellent service, solve problems, motivate and be a team player.
