Tender for provision of underground tunnel mining insurance for Ngali Mining at Gicumbi Miyove Mining Concessions

Ngali Mining Ltd (NML) is a Private Company registered in November 2015 under the Rwandan law, fully owned by NGALI Holdings and the latter being a private company wholly owned by the Government of Rwanda through Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning. The company was established to undertake the exploration, extraction/exploitation and commercialization of strategic mineral resources that can be found underneath the territory of Rwanda. Later on, the exploration of petroleum and gas in lake Kivu was introduced on its portfolio. Now NML specializes in minerals, petroleum and gas exploration with an objective of extraction, processing and commercialization of extractive products that provide the founding pillars to revolutionize the attractiveness of sector potential and projecting its ultimate contribution to the development of the country. It owns different concessions/licenses for exploration and mining of gold and gemstones (amethyst, sapphire etc…)

It is in the above context that Ngali mining is looking for a competent insurance provider that can provide underground tunnel mining insurance for Ngali mining gold concessions in MIYOVE GICUMBI.

LIMITS OF INDEMNITY

Capital sum insured in case of death ………………………:    1,500,000 Rwf to be paid to entitled beneficiary

Capital sum insured in case of total disability………………1,000,000 Rwf to be paid to entitled beneficiary

Medical fees:……………………………………300,000 Rwf to be paid to entitled beneficiary

The guarantee is covered are the miners known as local employees with the service of the employer (personal activities) for all personal injuries whose                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               the aforementioned policyholders would be victims.

The guarantee of the contract covers the accidents occurring within the underground mining tunnels and on the ground during mining activity.
