DATA+ Rwanda is a company that provides services related to research consulting and developing professional skills. Their goal is to discover and support research talents in various fields. They concentrate on the social economic sector for research consulting and offer training in research, data science, and digital skills for capacity building. In the past, they have conducted training sessions on data analysis using tools such as Python, R, and Stata, as well as academic writing and research publications. These sessions are led by experts in their respective fields and emphasize practical, hands-on skills.

In light of the current worldwide professional and business developments, where technology expertise is increasingly important across all fields and industries, DATA+ arranged a specialized workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for business and professional use.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing industries such as business management, project management, monitoring and evaluation, as well as big data analysis and forecasting across different sectors including economics, education, agriculture, health, and finance. To remain competitive, professionals and business operators must adopt and leverage AI. This training initiative is designed to provide professionals, particularly in Rwanda, with the necessary AI expertise to enhance their business and career prospects.

Learning Objectives:

Before and after the training, evaluations will be conducted to assess what participants have learned and how effective the training was. Following the physical training session, participants will receive capstone projects to complete and present, which will enable them to receive certificates upon completion.
