Operations Manager
This role oversees and manages all the operational activities of the Wilderness Rwanda business, elevating our superb guest experiences to even greater heights. You will work closely with the management teams to implement business strategies, continuously looking at ways to optimise the business’ operating capabilities.

High-level focus
• Ensure that business objectives are achieved while creating an environment that promotes staff commitment
• Formulate short- and medium-term strategies and ensure implementation
• Provide operational insights and prepare activity reports
• Drive the company’s operating capabilities to surpass guest satisfaction and retention
• Work with marketing to improve marketing initiatives
• Ensure all aspects of the operation run effectively and efficiently
• Direct the annual forecasting process and subsequent control of operational costs
• Manage relevant business relationships, including concession and community partnerships

Qualifications & experience
• Post-graduate Degree in Business Management/Administration, Commerce or similar is preferable
• Must have a background in senior management in the private sector
• Must have 5 to 7 years’ work experience
• Knowledge and experience in hospitality and lodge operations
• Project management skills
• Strong financial acumen
• Good leadership skills and experience in full MS Office suite
