Background information about the job or company:

Road Maintenance Fund (RMF) is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Senior Engineer to oversee road maintenance projects in Rwanda.

Responsibilities:

• Draft monitoring, inspection, and evaluation manuals/procedures for road maintenance projects
• Analyze road maintenance projects specifications and advise on time schedules and budgets
• Observe existing processes, analyze contractors' performance, and address deficiencies
• Monitor all road maintenance projects funded by RMF
• Report progress of project activities to the Supervisor
• Conduct regular site visits to collect infield activities information
• Provide feedback to the Director of Unit on progress of road maintenance works

Qualifications:

• Master’s in Civil Engineering with 1 year of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management with 3 years of relevant experience
• Master’s Degree in Road Engineering and Construction with 1 year of relevant experience
• Master’s Degree in Pavement Engineering with 1 year of relevant experience
• Master’s Degree in Highway Engineering and Management with 1 year of relevant experience

Required certificates:

• Professional Engineering License
