Role Objective
We’re seeking a skilled, sales focused, Lending Team Manager to ensure we meet our strategic goals in this new environment, while acting in our customers best interests. We specialise in lending to customers with adverse credit indicators. We don’t rely on computers to make decisions that are better made by people. Our team members have a high degree of autonomy and skill. Operating in a fast-paced and target driven environment, the role of Lending Team Manager is a challenging and satisfying position.

Key Responsibilities
• Supporting, motivating, and managing a team of up to 10 telephone-based Mortgage Advisors/ Mortgage Support Advisors.
• Coaching and Developing team members.
• Taking ownership of team performance in line with company objectives
• Acting as a point of reference for escalated queries
• Utilising in depth procedural knowledge to ensure team compliance
• Management of dialler campaigns
• Ensuring our customers remain at the heart of the everything we do
• Daily/weekly reporting on performance of team and campaigns.

Required skills and experience
• Full CeMAP qualification or the commitment to study and gain qualification withing 6 months
• A minimum of 12 months experience within an FCA regulated / financial services environment
• A performance and target driven focus
• Excellent customer service skills
• A passion for sharing knowledge and motivating others
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
• A professional, self-motivated, and pro-active approach.
• Experience of advised sales preferred
• Experience of leading a telephone-based loan or mortgage sales or brokerage team at Manager level (sales of similar regulated financial products considered), advantageous but not essential
