Remote Group seeks to hire qualified and experienced personnel to fill the following position;
Job Title: Iveco Truck Mechanic Specialist
Reporting To: Workshop Manager
Location: Rwanda
Summary
The position of “Iveco Truck Mechanic Specialist’ is a role that will require an individual who will strongly demonstrate safe operation of the assigned equipment, trained and is/are knowledgeable about safety and environmental standards, site-specific safety rules and able to work with minimum supervision. Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams sketches, operation manuals, using hand power tools and precision measuring instruments. Performs preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, project work and safety inspections as required to meet department goals and operational requirements..

  Key Responsibilities
• Conduct activities relating to maintenance and daily check-up of oil, water, filters, chassis bolts, leakage of air and oil.
• Timely delivery on production as required to meet the needs of the company.
• Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures

Competencies
• The ability to demonstrate a previous position with cognate experience in IVECO machines operation and maintenance.
• Field experience in the domain of construction, with 5 years of working knowledge in technical maintenance.
• Knowledge about safety and environmental standards, work with minimum supervision and willingness to work a variety of hours as business demands, including day and night shifts and weekends.
