JOB DETAILS:

INTEGRATED POLYTECHNIC REGIONAL COLLEGE - KIGALI .

Job Responsibilities
• Teach/Train students in areas assigned by the institution.
• To provide Training
• Provide quality and consistency training to students contribute in the development, planning and implementation of high quality curriculum.
• To conduct technical demonstrations and equipment operations to facilitate students better understanding.
• Supporting the development and implementation of curriculum.
• Contribute to the development of new or improved methods/techniques/equipment/training systems
• Monitor and maintain a safe working environment for self and others.
• Conduct defined special technical short courses.
• To Prepare training materials
• Prepare teaching manuscript(handouts)
• Prepare lesson plan
• Prepare practical exercises
• Provide assessment
• Setting CAT(continuous assessment test), and examinations and marking them.
• Participate in invigilation of exams and conduct examination and assessment.
• To participate in IPRC activities
• Carrying out duties requiring competence such participating in consultancy services.
• Contributing on issues that are useful to the development of IPRC facility
• Participate in meetings, seminars, and training session to obtain information useful to the IPRC facility, and integrates this information into the training program
• Engage with broader scholarly and professional community outreach activities.
• Mentor and coach junior academic staff and participate in their evaluation;
• Participate in income generating activities of the institution.
• Assist students to perform the necessary tasks while working in the workshop
• Provide professional and technical advice to supervisors.
• Perform all other tasks assigned by her/his supervisors.

• Bachelor degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Technology or closely related areas of Electrical Technology and Having experience in conducting practicals in electronics.
