JOB DETAILS:
1. Ensure the management of biomedical and non-medical maintenance;
2. Initiate, coordinate and manage maintenance contracts for biomedical equipment and non-biomedical with specialized houses;
3. Provide technical and administrative management of all the team responsible for maintenance equipment of Hospital;
4. Centralize all biomedical equipment needs and spare parts;
5. Coordinate and monitoring usage and acquisition of spare parts of all equipment;
6. Perform all activities concerning the management and maintenance of medical equipment;
7. Realize preventive and curative maintenance of medical equipment and device;
8. Intervening technically if necessary on biomedical equipment;
9. Work on the development and review of equipment specification to support medical equipment tender documentation and evaluation;
10. Participate in the Provision Guidance for service contract language and maintenance support by equipment suppliers with tender document;
11. Schedule of particular equipment pre-installation works for specialized equipment;
12. Participate in and assist in the commissioning of new medical devices and equipment by monitoring the installation of said items in accordance with signed contract and appropriate Hospital Regulations;
13. Review and advice on supply chain for spare parts and consumables for medical Equipment;
14. Participate in the development of technical document and formal memorandum as required to support the health sector;
15. Perform the preventive maintenance and curative maintenance of biomedical equipment;
16. Perform the monthly report of biomedical equipment maintained;
17. Perform the repair of biomedical equipment if necessary during night;
18. Perform all activities concerning the management and maintenance of non-medical equipment;
19. Realize preventive and curative maintenance of non-medical equipment and device;
20. Participate in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair so that the infrastructure is in good operating condition and safe;
21. Collaborate with design engineers on upgrade and development projects by providing technical input to the infrastructure design;
22. Contribute to installation planning, problem-solving during installation, and proactive communication with design engineers throughout the project;
23. Organize and conduct inventories to insure that tools and parts are available;
24. Undertake proactive health and safety inspections, audits, monitoring and preventative maintenance for all infrastructure sites;
25. Undertake maintenance schedules, regular inspection, maintenance, repair and replacement of items infrastructure;
26. Administer supervision of engineers and other maintenance personnel works;
27. Comply with Health and Safety by: adhering to standards;
28. Collaborate closely with the Environmental and Hygiene Team to ensure all new projects, works and improvements are sustainable, well designed and fit for purpose;
29. Deputize as necessary for the supervisor;
30. Perform minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment;
31. Replace and repair broken windows; doors, door locks and closets;
32. Install electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services, wiring during remodeling projects;
33. Replace and repair wiring as needed;
34. Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required;
35. Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures;
36. Assist engineers and other maintenance personnel in improvement of facility infrastructure;
37. Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairs plaster and drywall; paints building structures;
38. Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures;
39. Comply with Health and Safety by: adhering to standards;
40. Repair damaged buildings or faulty infrastructure’s areas, equipment and facilities;
41. Perform the repair of water circuit;
42. Perform the preventive maintenance and curative maintenance of water circuit;
43. Submit monthly, quarterly and annually report to the supervisor;
44. Perform other related duties as required
