Background
AOS LTD is a Service Provider that was established from the Joint Venture between the Government of Rwanda and Korea Telecom and is incorporated under the laws and regulations of the Republic of Rwanda. The company is engaged in the business of providing advanced Information and Communication Technology (“ICT”) services based on a state-of-the-art Data Center, System development and Integrations, e-Government projects implementation and Consulting among others.
In order to effectively accomplish its business objectives, AOS Ltd is looking for qualified and competent candidates to support its business operation in the following position:
Position: Information Security Sales Engineer..

Roles and Responsibilities
The information security sales engineer will be responsible for implementation, operation, maintenance & support, troubleshooting, and consulting of information security related services and systems during and after projects as well as pre-sales for business acquisition.
His/her duties also include collaboration with different subcontractors and partners involved in the implementation of different ICT projects.
The sales engineer will have the following responsibilities:
• ž Finds and develops new business opportunities for information security projects
• ž Performs vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for applications, systems, networks, and databases, collects requirements during and after the development/initiation of new projects, and prepares the bill of quantities
• ž Creates and maintains technical documentation such as: testing and consulting reports, lessons learned, and etc. for different projects
• ž Provides update on project progress and notifies any impending changes; escalates issues that cannot be solved at the ground level to his/her line manager
• ž Performs routine maintenance to supplied information security systems or solutions as well as emergency support when required
• ž Works with foreign companies and Rwanda government institutions for solution development and provide support to solutions or services implemented by AOS
• ž Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following skill sets:
• ž Analysis and troubleshooting ability in system, web application vulnerability, network, and database testing
• ž Analysis ability in packets and protocols through Wireshark
• ž Troubleshooting ability in information security matters by finding the root cause
• ž In-depth understanding of information technology and IP networking
• ž Excellent communication ability in written and oral as sales engineer
• ž A person of proven integrity, highly motivated, innovative and a team player ob

Education/ Experience
• ž 4-year degree in any major related to information security or information technology
• ž Experience or trainings in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for information security
• ž Experience in marketing & sales will be an added value as sales engineer
• ž Preferred: Work, trainings, experiences in Top 20 ICT developed countries in the website: http://www.itu.int/net4/itu-d/idi/2017/index.html 
Certifications
• Certificates or trainings for vulnerabilities in web applications, port scanning, packet and protocol analysis by using appropriate tools such as Nmap, OpenVas, Metasploit Framework, etc.
• Certificates or trainings for Information Communication Technology system and Security equipment (Firewall/Web Firewall/DDoS prevention equipment)
