JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a Health, Safety, Security and Environment Manager
1. Management of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) risks of the Project to ensure benefits of the Project to the Community, sustained livelihoods and a social licence for the project.
2. Implementation and monitoring of project ESMP and ESIA Licence conditions.
3. Monthly monitoring and reporting of HSSE performance of the Project in line with IFC Performance Standards.
4. Development and implementation of HSSE policies, plans and procedures aligned to local legislation and IFC performance standards.
5. Environmental and social impact assessment of projects in line with IFC Standards.
6. Interacting directly with a broad group of external stakeholders, policymakers and investors and establishing beneficial networks for the project.
7. Implementation and certification to ISO 17025:2017 for project’s environmental laboratory.
8. Site HSSE management to ensure no significant HSSE incidents.
9. Co-ordination of Site Safety committee and making it functional.
10. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Employee’s immediate supervisor.

Requirements for the role are:
• University degree in health and safety and/or the environment is required.
• Candidates must have at least 5 years' experience in an equivalent position.
