The Finance department in the Country Office (CO) is responsible for Mobisol’s cash management, the accounting of the Mobisol financials, as well as the controlling in the CO.The Head of Finance is therefore responsible for the cash management, the accounting, the controlling and local tax compliance. .
Job Responsibilities
• Management of the Finance team
• Support the development and maintaining of the CO-specific chapters of the Mobisol accounting manual
• Implementation, improvement and supervision of the CO budgeting process
• Consultancy of the management regarding business decisions
• Preparation of the CO financial statements (yearly, quarterly, monthly) and explanatory notes to the CO financials (local GAAP including tax, IRFS)
• Reconciliation of the intercompany accounting (CO–CO; Group – CO)
• Accurate and meaningful analysis of CO cost centre actual-budget/forecast comparisons
• Preparation of cash forecasts
• Securing internal and/or external funding
• Audit process from preparation to sign-off from auditors
• Watch and assessment of the regulation in particular with respect to finance, accounting and internal control

Job Qualifications
• Relevant professional experience and academic background in Accounting/Finance (10 + years of experience).
• Working experience in managing team of at least 10 employees with disciplinary and functional authority
• National Board of Accountants and Auditors registered
• Business acumen and high level of familiarity with finance strategies and procedures
• Understanding of Microfinance is a plus
• Very strong communication and negotiation skills
• International work experience is a strong asset
• Very good organizational and interpersonal skills
