The International Conservation Fund (ICFC) is an international conservation, humanitarian and developmental organization in General Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC operating in 32 countries around the world. Since 2007, we have been partnering on projects with local conservation organizations in Latin America, Africa and Asia. They know best what needs doing and how to go about it  

ICFC in Rwanda is legally working in Rwanda since 2003 and duly registered under RGB with registration No 000018/RGB/INGO/RC/11/2024 and has endeavored to improve conservation activities  , agriculture & livestock,  livelihood, humanitarian assistance, advocacy, and social economy,

The grant is open to SME applications from any country as long as the projects meet the eligibility criteria and are being implemented in Rwanda. The grant is ranging from US$ 75,000 to US$ 250,000. We encourage eligible SMEs to apply, an SME needed to apply must follow the instructions below:

CATEGORIES OF PROPOSAL TO BE FUNDED

• Primary production ( farming and livestock )
• Processing and aggregation
• Trading and market linkages and export
• Others related  

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE GRANT

• Be involved in the challenge sector of focus i.e. agriculture.
• Be an existing for-profit Small or Medium-sized Enterprise (SMEs). Women-led SMEs are encouraged to apply.
• Be implementing business in Rwanda.
• Be requesting for grant funding ranging from US$ 75,000 to US$ 250,000, disbursed over 1year months period, based on applicants’ development stage, scalability, and business model.  
• Be providing matching contribution of at least 30% of the total project cost.
• Provide conservative and climate change solutions.
• Adhere to fundamental human rights, child protection , inclusiveness labor standards, and environmental management laws, both nationally and internationally, including seed laws/policy.
• Refrain from any involvement in acts of terrorism or support for terrorist activities.

• Risk assessment and mitigation
• Additionality
