EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE OUTSOURCING OF RUTONGO MINES RECREATIONAL AND ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX

Expression of Interest for potential Service Providers

Rutongo Mines Ltd (Rutongo) part of the Trinity Metals Group of Rwanda, is a Tin Mine 26km (by road) to the north of Kigali in the Northern Province, near the village of Masoro, Rulindo. The Mine produces more than 60 tonnes per month under a 25-year license that began in 2015.

On the property of Rutongo, a non-operational Recreational and Entertainment Complex exists which could be operated as an adult and family relaxation area with grounds, bar, toilets, dining area, picnic grounds and swimming pool all within close proximity to a football field and basketball court.

The vision is to open the Complex for morning, lunch and dinner dining, celebrations, weddings, company conferences, company daily meals and to welcome the surrounding community to this idyllic location. The Complex has easy access for Mine personnel and the surrounding town/villages.

The Complex has seating capacity of more than 100 and a limited supply of cooking equipment, furniture, kitchen cutlery, crockery and linen.

The appointed Outsource Partner will have access to the buildings, equipment and facilities.

Maintenance of the buildings, Rutongo equipment will be the responsibility of Rutongo.

All interested parties should submit their Expression of Interest with supporting documents to tender@trinity-metals.com by not later than Thursday, 12 September 2024 and consist of:

• Application Letter introducing your Company/yourself and a brief business profile.
• Certificate of domestic company registration issued by RDB
• VAT Registration
• Valid tax clearance issued by RRA
• 3 Reference letters from 3 reputable organizations for reference

Expressions of Interest received after 12 September 2024 will unfortunately not be considered.

Selected tenderers will be invited to a Compulsory September Tender Site Meeting at Rutongo.
