JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
The District Construction inspector will be in charge of supervising construction activities at Nyabihu District.

Duties And Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the CERC Project Manager, the employee will perform the following duties:
• Supervisor and monitor construction activities at District level
• Supervise procurement and supply of construction materials at various sites
• Supervisor site managers
• Organize regular visit at construction sites and ensure activities are implemented with full compliance to standard ToRs
• Ensure adequate distribution of resources and prevent risk of misuse.
• Prepare and submit progress and technical report.

Qualifications
Master’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Project Management in Construction 1 year of working Experience.
Bachelor degree, in Construction, Civil Engineering, Project Management in Construction 3 years of working Experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Understanding of construction material engineering;
• Accountability, integrity and Organizational skills;
• Ability to inspect, monitor and evaluate building construction projects to ensure they are decent, safe and sanitary for compliance with existing regulations and quality standards
