1. Deputy Branch Leader (1)

VFR would like to recruit competent and experienced deputy Branch Leader to work in one of our branches in Musanze.
Education/Experience:

• University degree in economics, accounting, business administration;
• Minimum 5years experience in banking industry at Team Leader level

Special / Personal Abilities:

• Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of reliability and correctness
• Good knowledge on economic and financial topics and sufficient experience in the operational business of VFR.
• Be a good trainer, facilitator, mentor, and coach
• Very good communication skills
• Familiar with Microsoft applications
• Excellent marketing skills.

Responsibility:

• Ensures an efficient performance of the branch in savings and Credit operations
• Banking operations are boosted in terms of increasing sales and deposits.
• Markets the products and services of VFR.

Main tasks:

• Coordinates and controls the operations of the assigned zone.
•  Implements policies, procedures and internal controls at the branch
• Ensures that the targets agreed with the management are reached;
• Participates in evaluating, approving, or rejecting loans according to the level of discretion;
• Plans personnel capacity, selecting new staff and evaluating existing staff in accordance with the set policies; Ensures that the branch staff maintain very high morale and adequate and updated training;
• Plans and initiates promotional measures within the target markets of the branch;
• Champions” the deposit mobilization efforts within the branch’s area of coverage;
