Parts Manager

Missions / Issues of the function

• Under the authority of the counter head, the counter salesperson, promotes the products and services Spare Parts at the counter, he takes care of his customers from the reception until the delivery of his spare parts.

Main activities of the function

• Customer reception

• Listening needs and identifying parts

• Advice and proposal to customers

• Establishment of estimates

• Sell and promote Spare Parts products

• Internal and external billing

• Ensure execution of customer orders

• Retain new customers

• Relaunch the quotes

• Telephone prospecting

• Ask Caterpillar for price support

Key interfaces of the function

• Internally: ML, financial service, technical service Head of counter

• Externally: All customers

• Number of customer quotes completed

• Limited number of assets

Training

• Bac + 2 in mechanics or technology

Experience / Knowledge / Know-How

• Technical knowledge

• Counter experience spare parts

• Knowledge of Caterpillar products and various

• Knowledge of catalogs and software Caterpillar sales Spare parts (SIS, ET)
